Sausage Cheese Balls

Sausage Cheese Balls are a great snack to serve at your parties. They are easy and delicious. The flavor of the sausage and cheese and undertones of celery with its crunchy outside will be a family favorite.

I made these for a new friend and unfortunately they didn't come out very good. But I may not have had my mind on the recipe as this was a new boyfriend. He must not have held it against me as we are still together years later.


Sausage Cheese Balls are a good snack for get-togethers or your Superbowl party. They stay crisp if kept in a crockpot on low heat.

To start, you will need:

2 lbs. pork sausage, uncooked
1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 c. finely chopped onion
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1 tsp. garlic powder

Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix all ingredients together. Roll into 1 in. balls and place on baking stone. Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.

HINT: For future use, you may freeze the rolled balls (uncooked).
