Cheese Puffs

This is such an easy recipe for Cheese Puffs. Three simple ingredients turns out a cheesy little snack that you can hand out to your kids or serve at your casual get-together.

  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1 c. all purpose flour
  • 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Combine the butter and cheese. Mix well. Add flour and mix until a soft ball. Chill for 1 hour.

Shape into 1" balls. Place on baking stone and bake on 450 degree for 10 minutes. Makes about 40.

Eating cheese immediately after meals or as an in between meal snack will reduce the risk of tooth decay.

Such a good recipe and fun to eat. They are an excellent snack to serve your friends while watching that football or baseball game. My kids loved this recipe as an after school snack. I often would have the dough ready and they would help form the balls and bake them when they got home from school. A crisp cheesy snack that will be enjoyed by all.
